You are at the entrance to the village, facing the double walls.
From this point you can continue to the Main Gate, the Wall Walk, or climb up to the Rocca Pisana, the highest and most scenic part of the Castle.

You are standing in front of the monumental entrance to Giglio Castle, the ancient heart of the island. This is theAntiporta, the point of access to the fortified village, built as the first defensive opening between the medieval walls surrounding the town.
