In front of the church of San Pietro is a small panoramic space, created in the 18th century during the renovation of the building. Overlooking the sea and suitable for cultural initiatives, it is complemented by the cistern of Ferdinand III de' Medici and visually dialogues with the open area located at the Rocca Pisana.

Thearea in front of the church of St. Peter is a small open space inside the castle.
Its location allows a splendid view of the sea and lends itself to cultural initiatives.
The renovation of the church during the 18th century made it possible to carve out this area, which is completed, on the opposite side, by the cistern built by Ferdinand III de' Medici.
This open space dialogues at a distance with the other one that stands immediately outside the fortress, on the upper part of the castle.
